The present invention relates to a wire grid polarizer and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the wire grid polarizer is configured to include a wire grid structure having at least one laminated structure in where a low refractive index dielectric layer and a high refractive index dielectric layer are sequentially stacked on a substrate. According to the present invention, provided is the wire grid polarizer with excellent polarization degree in a various wavelength band.
