The present invention relates to a device for shaping a fine protrusion on the surface of a monofilament for a tooth brush bristle which passes an unprocessed long (continuous) monofilament through upper and lower drum rollers, which have an intaglio or relief shape corresponding to the shape of the fine protrusion to be shaped and are heated to a predetermined temperature, thereby shaping the fine protrusion on the monofilament (the toothbrush bristle). The fine protrusion can more effectively remove food fitted between teeth or a foreign substance attached between a tooth and a gum than a smooth toothbrush bristle can (effective tooth brushing). |
