A portable counterweight for a belt weighing apparatus, according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a connection ring member which is coupled to a connecting pin prepared on an upper load cell of the belt weighing apparatus; an actuator which is arranged under the ring connection member, and moves the connection ring member up and down; a controller which controls the operation of the actuator; a load cell which is arranged under the actuator, and measures the force generated by the operation of the actuator, in accordance with the control of the controller; and a fixing member which is arranged under the load cell, and which is fixed to a lower frame of the belt weighing apparatus.
