PURPOSE: A slab scale removal apparatus is provided to easily and conveniently remove scale which is generated not only on the lower part side but also on the side of slab. CONSTITUTION: A slab scale removal apparatus includes a side spray unit (120) and a scale removing object supply unit. The side injection unit is arranged on both sides of a transferred slab, and diagonally sprays a scale removing object onto both sides of the slab in the reverse direction of the transferring direction of the slab. The scale removing object supply unit supplies the scale removing object to the side spray unit. The scale removing object supply unit is equipped with a descaler pipe (110), a transfer pipe (112), and a lower part scale spray nozzle (114). |
