According to the present invention, disclosed is a slab cutting auxiliary unit comprising: a frame part installed in a shifting table of a slab cutting device; multiple bracket parts installed in the frame part for corresponding multiple disk rolls equipped in the shifting table; and a sensor part installed in a slab cutting part where a cutting work of a drawing slab is performed for sensing a location of the disk roll by sensing whether there is the bracket part or not. Moreover, disclosed is a slab cutting apparatus comprising: a slab cutting part where a cutting work of a drawing slab is performed; a shifting table located in a lower part of the slab cutting part for shifting forward and backward for performing a cutting work of the slab cutting part; and the slab cutting auxiliary unit. According to the present invention, the slab cutting auxiliary unit and the slab cutting apparatus including the same are capable of preventing a disk roll from being broken and deformed due to a flame of a burner by sensing the disk roll regardless of a location of the disk roll for supporting a slab. |
