The present invention relates to an electric stroller comprising: a battery; a main switch for switching whether or not to supply a power supply supplied from the battery; a driving switch for switching whether or not to electrically drive the stroller using the power supply supplied through the main switch; a sensor operated by the power supply supplied through the main switch to detect whether or not a user grips a handle of the stroller; and a driving part for transferring rotation force to wheels corresponding to the power supply supplied through the driving switch and the detection signals transferred from the sensor and determining whether or not to operate a brake corresponding to the detection signals received from the sensor. The present invention can fundamentally prevent accidents due to the carelessness of the user by automatically operating the brake when the user does not grip the handle of the stroller. Also, the present invention can be electrically or manually driven according to driving situations in a state where the user grips the handle of the stroller.
