Disclosed are a polyolefin microporous membrane which has good hydrophile property, mechanical strength, and porosity without the difficulty of a manufacturing process and copes with a sudden increase of temperature in a battery, and a method of manufacturing the same. The microporous membrane and method include a polyolefin resin of 30-70 wt% and an additive of 70-30 wt% which includes cellulose fiber of 1-80 wt%, hydrocarbon based polymer, polyester based plasticizer, epoxy based plasticizer, and fluorine based surfactant. It can be fabricated by the stretching and extraction of plasticizer. |
