A door safety device for a washing machine prepared by the present invention comprises: a housing which forms a body having a fixed space where various components can be mounted; a cover which is placed in the upper part of the housing in order to cover the upper part of the housing; a restraint device where a bar protruding toward the outside of the housing is formed at one side in order to slide the internal and external sides of the housing; a guide line which is formed at one side of the restraint device and is dented in a Y shape; a heart cam which is placed between the guide lines and where a cam protruding in a heart shape is formed; a guide fin which moves along the guide line and the cam of the heart cam; and a solenoid which is placed at the other side of the restraint device and provides power in order to allow the restraint device to slide. In the door safety device for a washing machine, the guide line in a Y shape comprises: a first guide line which is placed on the bottom of the heart cam and whose center is formed at the external side of a top protrusion at one side of the heart cam; a second guide line which is extended from the first guide line toward the top protrusion at the one side of the heart cam, and whose center is formed at the internal side of the top protrusion at the one side of the heart cam; and a third guide line which is extended from the first guide line toward a top protrusion at the other side of the heart cam, and whose center is formed at the external side of the top protrusion at the other side of the heart cam. |
