The invention refers to a method for fastening a plastic support (9) to a reservoir (1). This plastic support has a level meter (3) assembled thereto and a plunger arm (6) coupled to said meter, which allows the fuel to be measured within the gasoline tank. The fastening method allows the plastic support to be positioned in any point of the longitudinal flat wall (7) of the reservoir (1). The advantage of the inventive method is that the standardization of a single reservoir (1) with a longitudinal flat wall (7) for different module application, allows the level meter (3) to be located at the required distance and position, due to the positioning flexibility lengthwise the flat longitudinal area (7) of the reservoir (1). Unlike current systems, the support where the level meter (3) is assembled will be fixed in a specific position since it is injected by process to the reservoir, this being functional for an unlimited number of applications. The use of the inventive method for fasteni ng the plastic support (9) results in an unlimited application of the same, since it can be used in any fuel module regardless of the level meter position without using a large number of reservoirs. |
