PURPOSE: A pre-heater and air-heater control method is provided to reduce the exhaust gas and smoke of a vehicle by operating an air-heater when necessary during driving. CONSTITUTION: A pre-heater and air-heater control method comprises the steps of: determining whether the catalyst shear temperature of an exhaust pipe during driving of a vehicle is less than the set reference temperature(S22), detecting a section where the catalyst shear temperature is lowered(S23), and operating an air-heater in the detected section(S24). |
