The present invention refers to a process for the production of a superior biofuel ideal to replace conventional diesel and biodiesel, which is obtained from castor oil and where the manufacture thereof includes two stages: the first stage includes refining the biodiesel by means of a heterogeneous catalyst such as CaO (calcium oxide), removing the precursor reaction of soap and consequently the use of water for the purification step, this purification step would not use the distillation as a separation process, instead using the mechanical force (filtration and centrifugal forces). The second stage includes the addition of corrosion stabilizers, cetane enhancers and conventional diesel to the biodiesel obtained in the first step of the process with the purpose of obtaining the advanced or superior biofuel of the present invention, this being characterized and having technical advantages such as a high cetane index and an enhanced corrosion stability, compared to different types of cu rrent biofuels. |
