<p>Disclosed are a power transmission device and a method for controlling the same. The disclosed power transmission device includes: a motor-generator unit which drives a motor or generates power by converting input AC power into three-phase AC power and supplies the acquired AC power; a battery unit which is charged with electric energy using DC power and supplies DC power using the charged electric energy; and a converter which, according to a control signal, converts the DC power supplied from the battery unit to AC power and supplies the converted AC power to the motor-generator unit or to an external electrical grid or converts AC power supplied from the external electrical grid or from the motor-generator unit into DC power and charges the battery unit.</p> |
