Selecting clones of microbial strains or animal cells, which are placed under induction conditions for producing proteins with a continuous supply of a solution containing compounds including at least one carbon-containing substrate, at least one nitrogen-containing compound and one or more mineral salts, is claimed, where the composition of the solution is chosen such that the elements of the compounds are present in a stoichiometric proportion to the composition of the expected product. The compounds are present in the form such that a pH-value is constantly maintained without regulation. |
