The present invention relates to a food slicer finely cutting an object for cooking and forming slices thereof. The food slicer comprises: a main body; a housing in which an insertion part wherein the object is inserted is slantingly formed in one side of the outer circumference surface with a preset angle and which is installed in one side of the main body; and a slicing knife housing which is installed inside the housing to be rotated and in which a slicing blade cutting the object inserted through the insertion part into slices is arranged in one side of the outer circumference surface. The insertion part has a direction guide surface guiding the object to be inserted in one inner side around the point where the cutting by the slicing blade is finished among sites connected to the housing and crossed at right angles to the cutting direction of the slicing blade, thereby preventing a skin of the object like a white radish from being uncut and extended. And, a non-slip bump is formed in one inner side of the housing close to the direction guide surface and supports one side of the object on the opposite side of the cutting direction, thereby preventing the object from being discharged uncut. Also, since the bottom of the housing is bent inwards, liquid formed in case of cutting the object is not discharged to the outside. |
