The present invention relates to a fan heater using a surface heating body, and the objective is to enable blowing of high-temperature air and have uniform distribution of air volume and air pressure during the blowing of the high-temperature air. To that end, the fan heater using a surface heating body includes: one or more heating tubes each of which has an inner flow path for allowing air to pass through; an air blowing fan which blows air into the inner flow paths of the heating tubes; and a surface heating body which generates heat using applied power and heats the air flowing along the inner flow paths. In order to maintain uniform distribution of air volume and air pressure of the air blown into the inner flow path of each heating tube, an air mixing chamber for mixing air introduced from the air blowing fan to each heating tube is further included. Also, in order to extend the heating time of air by the surface heating body, a unit to extend the stay of air inside the inner flow path is further included.
