<p>The device (2) has a robotized manipulator (18) for transferring a batch of objects from a supply conveyor (6) to an accumulation surface (27). A handling head (7) handles the batch of objects and moves the batch of objects from the accumulation surface to a discharge conveyor (8). The handling head is designed as a U-shaped cap, where the U-shape is visible in a plane perpendicular to a conveying direction of the supply conveyor or the discharge conveyor. The handling head is vertically movable between an active position and a retracted position. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring a batch of objects.</p> |
