<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method, and program for generating a threshold matrix having high robustness to stripe irregularities, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A threshold matrix generating device calculates a first evaluation value EV1 obtained by quantifying the degree of overlapping of dots in any one of a row direction and a column direction of a threshold matrix Mt, on the basis of positional errors Erp1 and Erp2 or size errors Ers1 and Ers2 occurring when a plurality of dots are formed. The threshold matrix generating device then determines a threshold matrix Mt on the basis of the first evaluation value EV1.</p> |
