A hair iron characterized in comprising a first crimping part (1) having a first hair-crimping surface (5), and a second crimping part (2) having a second hair-crimping surface (6); configured so as to crimp hair between the first hair-crimping surface and the second hair-crimping surface; and having a heating part (9, 10) for heating the crimped hair provided to the first hair-crimping surface and/or the second hair-crimping surface; wherein the first crimping part and/or the second crimping part is provided with a superheated steam-generating part (11) for heating a liquid to generate steam and further heating the generated steam to generate superheated steam, and a release hole (19) for releasing the generated superheated steam toward the crimped hair. |
