The present invention relates to the field of communications. A transmitter, optical signal generation method, device and system for reducing the cost of use, simplifying the device structure, and reducing upgrading pressure, thus improving carrier and user experience; the method comprising: obtaining a first polarized laser according to a first data signal, dividing the first polarized laser into a second polarized laser and a third polarized laser; rotating the third polarized laser to a second polarization direction according to a preset rotation angle; erasing the first data signal in the third polarized laser, and modulating a second data signal into the third polarized laser to obtain a fourth polarized laser; rotating the fourth polarized laser to a third polarization direction according to a preset rotation angle, the third polarization direction being perpendicular to the first polarization direction; combining the second polarized laser and the fourth polarized laser having the third polarization direction into a polarized multiplexing optical signal. The embodiment of the present invention is used to generate a polarized multiplexing optical signal. |
