The present invention relates to a system for examining equipment of a ship through human body communications and a method thereof and, more specifically, to a system for examining equipment of a ship through human body communications in order to examine valves or other pieces of equipment of a ship or an offshore plant through human body communications. The system includes a storage unit in which piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and IDs of valves or other pieces of equipment to construct a ship in a shipyard are stored; a human body communications transmission and reception unit which includes a body contact unit to communicate with a tag unit attached to pieces of equipment such as pipes; a display unit which displays data visually if data stored in a tag of the tag unit and the ID in the transmitted data are identical; an alarm unit which sets off an alarm through a sound or light if the data and the ID are identical; and a control unit which controls the units mentioned above.
