<p>Provided is a distillation apparatus that can automatically carry out liquid replenishment, does not require input of large amounts of energy, and can control equipment costs. A distillation apparatus (100) generates distilled water by solar heat (72) and is provided with: a heat transmitting window (10) through which the solar heat (72) passes; a housing (20) that secures the heat transmitting window (10); and a heat absorbing body (25) that is disposed on the inside of the housing (20) and absorbs the solar heat (74) passing through the heat transmitting window (10). The housing (20) is provided with a first chamber (21) in which the heat absorbing body (25) is disposed and a second chamber (22) connected to the first chamber (21) through a water vapor permeable membrane (40) that transmits water vapor (64) generated in the first chamber (21). An intake opening (50) through which liquid is taken in is provided below the first chamber (21), and a water level adjusting mechanism (30) that adjusts the level (L) of a liquid (63) covering the heat absorbing body (25) is provided in the first chamber (21).</p> |
