PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication monitoring system for a passenger conveyor that can timely discover and dissolve the supply failure of a lubricating oil to a chain for use in a passenger conveyor.SOLUTION: A lubrication monitoring system includes: lubrication nozzles 36a, 36b disposed oppositely to chains 25, 32 for driving an escalator; lubrication piping 40a, 40b connected to the lubrication nozzles 36a, 36b; a pump 46 for supplying a lubricating oil stored in a tank 48 to the lubrication nozzles 36a, 36b through the lubrication piping 40a, 40b; pressure sensors 38a, 38b for detecting the pressure of the lubricating oil supplied to the lubrication nozzles 36a, 36b; and a controller 50 for controlling the actuation of the pump 46. The controller 50 generates a warning signal in the case where the lubrication pressure detected by the pressure sensors 38a, 38b is not in a pre-set proper range, when the lubricating oil is supplied to the lubrication nozzles 36a, 36b by the actuation of the pump 46. |
