The device (10a) has a dual clutch (11a) providing power parallel to a first input clutch (12a) i.e. pure clutch. The first input clutch is switched to a second input clutch (13a) e.g. moving off clutch or multiple disk clutches. A gear wheel is provided with a forward starting gear (16a) and an input-side gear (17a), which are assigned to the second input clutch. Diameter of the first input clutch is smaller than diameter of the second input clutch. A lubrication and coolant system (18a) supplies lubricant and/or coolant to the first and second input clutches during starting process.
