An optical amplifier control method and device and an optical amplifier. The method comprises: obtaining an initial control current offset amount according to a current input optical power, a previous input optical power, a maximum operating current, a minimum operating current, a control current coefficient and an offset coefficient, and obtaining a curve of the control current offset amount changing with time by combining with an adjustment time, and then according to the curve, taking the sum of a current control current offset amount and a preset control current as a driving current of a pump laser in an optical amplifier. The control method and device can adjust an optical amplifier in advance, thereby avoiding the hysteresis of the value of driving currents caused by time delay in an adjustment process, and greatly reducing the occurrence of the transient effect of the optical amplifier. |
