The present invention relates to a voice problem detection method and a network element device applied to a voice communication network system. The detection method comprises: a network element device acquiring a voice frame representing call content of a user; the network element device detecting a voice quiet period of the voice frame to be transmitted over a designated transmission channel; and the network element device inserting a preset test voice sample frame in the voice quiet period, and transmitting the voice frame and the inserted test voice sample frame to an opposite-end network element device through the designated transmission channel, so as to enable the opposite-end network element device to receive, and detect and separate the voice frame and the test voice sample frame which are transmitted through the designated transmission channel, to compare the separated test voice sample frame to a correct processing result of the preset test voice sample frame, and to use the comparison result as a basis for judging whether a voice processing exception exists. Therefore, the quick positioning of a voice problem can be achieved without capturing a package to hear recordings. In addition, the detected test voice sample frame is irrelevant to the call content of the user, so that the user privacy is not infringed. |
