PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as a pump mechanism which sucks and discharges a fluid into and from a plurality of cylinders by pistons, a fluid sucking/discharging pump mechanism which generates low vibration and low noise and equalizes a driving rotary load as well as reduction in device size, and can be put in smooth motion.SOLUTION: A fluid sucking/discharging pump mechanism includes: a plurality of cylinders 33; pistons 39 in first and second groups which are fitted to the cylinders 33 to move reciprocally; an operation valve for suction into and discharging from the cylinders; and a drive mechanism which places the pistons in reciprocal motion. The drive mechanism comprises operation cam means 22 of moving pistons in the first or second group in a forward direction and interlocking means 23 of moving pistons in the another group in a backward direction. The operation cam means in this case comprises motion conversion means of converting rotation of a drive motor into linear motion and the interlocking means comprises link means of linking a plurality of piston actions. Consequently, a device employing the pump mechanism can be configured compactly to generate low vibration and low noise, and can be placed in smooth pump motion. |
