PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator capable of maintaining high performance for a durability year of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The interval between an ignition means chamber housing 20 and a pressure gas chamber housing 40 is blocked by a closing member 12, and a multifunctional member 30 comprising a substrate part 31 and a cylindrical wall part 32 is arranged in the ignition means chamber housing 20. The multifunctional member 30 supports in the contact state, a fragile site 11 of the closing member 12. During operation, the multifunctional member 30 is moved in the axial direction, and thereby the closing member 12 is broken. |
