<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink discharge device capable of easily discharging ink having a very small diameter.SOLUTION: A hybrid ink discharge device of the invention, which is a device for discharging ink toward a substrate, comprises: a nozzle that stores ink inside, that has an opening formed on one end, and that has a nozzle tip for discharging the ink formed on the other end; a physical drive unit including a piezoelectric actuator, an upper electrode, and a membrane electrode deformed by the piezoelectric actuator to apply a physical pressure to an interior of the nozzle; a counter electrode that is arranged outside of the nozzle and to which a voltage is applied so as to form an electric field between the membrane electrode and the counter electrode; and a voltage application unit applying the voltage to the counter electrode and the physical drive unit.</p> |
