<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic air-heating and cooling apparatus capable of applying intense magnetism with magneto-caloric materials.SOLUTION: Magneto-caloric materials 11 to 18 having two pieces in the radial direction (array direction), four arrays in the circumferential direction and eight pieces in the sum are arranged respectively at intervals, magnet structural bodies 21 and 25, 22 and 26, 23 and 27, and 24 and 28 which assume an upper and lower pair are arranged so as to hold the magneto-caloric materials 11 to 18 between the upper side and lower side upon magnetism application, in every other arrangement with respect to the array direction and the circumferential direction, and the respective magneto-caloric materials to constitute a magnetic circuit. In a magnetic air-heating and cooling apparatus, the respective magnet structural bodies 21 to 28 are made of a plurality of permanent magnets having a Halbach array in which directions of magnetization are different from each other and are arranged such that both directions of magnetic field lines formed by the magnet structural bodies get to the same direction between a pair of magnet structural bodies 21, 25.</p> |
