<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode paste coating device and an electrode paste coating method which can expand a viscosity range of an electrode paste which can be coated with uniform thickness along a width direction more than a prior art.SOLUTION: A coating device 60 includes: a die head 70; an angle control part which rotates the die head; and an end shape measurement part which measures the shape of ends 4b of a coated paste 4. The die head includes a contact surface 75 which contacts the discharged electrode paste to regulate the thickness of the paste. The contact surface is bent so that the pressure applied to the discharged electrode paste from the contact surface is smaller on a central part 4a than that on both ends 4b along the width direction when the die head is at a reference position, and the pressure difference becomes smaller as the die head rotates in a predetermined direction from the reference position. The angle control part rotates the die head on the basis of a measurement result of the end shape measurement part. Consequently, end height and end sag are suppressed and a viscosity range of the electrode paste which can be coated is expanded.</p> |
