PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immobilization method of radioactive cesium included in new incineration fly ash and an immobilizing agent, capable of immobilizing radioactive cesium by simple processing and preventing the immobilized radioactive cesium from being eluted even when stood for a long term.SOLUTION: The immobilization method of radioactive cesium included in new incineration fly ash comprises: the mixing step of adding sodium aluminate and phosphoric acid to the incineration fly ash and mixing them in water; the separation step of separating a solid content from the mixture obtained in the mixing step; and the drying step of drying the solid content separated in the separation step. In the mixing step, an ultrasonic wave is preferably emitted into the mixture.
