A structure for the front part of a vehicle is provided with: vehicle body-side structural members which are located at both sides of the vehicle body and which extend in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body; a power train (5) which is disposed between the vehicle body-side structural members located at both sides of the vehicle body; and load transmission members (25, 25A, 25B) which are mounted to either the vehicle body-side structural members and/or the power train (5) in such a manner that at least a part of each of the load transmission members (25, 25A, 25B) is located on the outside of the corresponding vehicle body-side structural member in the widthwise direction of the vehicle. The load transmission members (25, 25A, 25B) transmit at least a part of an impact load to the vehicle body through the power train (5), the impact load being applied by an obstacle in front of the vehicle body. |
