In the present invention, a particulate (1) used as the positive electrode active material is characterized in that parts of the surface of a first particle (3), which contains lithium iron phosphate, have a second particle (5), which contains lithium manganese phosphate and has a smaller particle diameter than the first particle (3), adhered thereto. It is preferable for the particle diameter of the first particle (3) to be 100nm-10µm, and for the particle diameter of the second particle (5) be equal to or less than 200nm. In addition, it is preferable for at least one part of the surface of the particulate (1) to be covered by carbon.
