The objective of the invention is to improve the capability of a control apparatus for creating control information in a case where a centralized control type of network is connected to an existing network. A control apparatus comprises: a route information storage unit that stores information used for determining an adjacent router established as a next hop for a destination; a path calculation unit that calculates, on the basis of a network topology constituted by a plurality of controlled nodes, a path between any ones of the controlled nodes; and a plurality of control information creation units that create control information to be set to the plurality of controlled nodes. Each of the plurality of control information creation units uses a path, which has been calculated by the path calculation unit, to create, for that one of destinations acquired from the route information storage unit which is in charge of the control information creation unit, control information used for causing at least one controlled node on the path to transfer a packet to the adjacent router. |
