The centrifugal fertilizer spreader has a device for detecting the inclination of the spreader to the horizontal, and is coupled to an on-board computer. A control program correction data is provided to change the calibration factor as a function of the inclination of the fertilizer spreader to the horizontal. The current calibration factor is varied according to the online data determined via the slope of the spreader to the horizontal, so that the desired mass flow of the fertilizer material is applied even at the respective inclination of the spreader to the horizontal.
