PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance detection device capable of highly accurately performing the range-finding operation of an object which is low in luminance.SOLUTION: In a distance detection device including: an imaging element; and arithmetic means for calculating a distance to a subject on the basis of an electric signal, the imaging element includes signal acquisition means for acquiring a first electric signal to be acquired on the basis of a light flux which has passed a first region eccentric from the center of an exit pupil to a predetermined direction, a second electric signal to be acquired on the basis of a light flux which has passed a second region eccentric from the center of the exit pupil to a direction reverse to the predetermined direction and a third electric signal to be acquired on the basis of a light flux which has passed a region eccentric from the first region to the direction reverse to the predetermined direction at a plurality of positions on the imaging element, and the arithmetic means performs signal correction processing of generating a first correction signal by subtracting the third electric signal from the first electric signal at a predetermined rate and distance calculation processing of calculating the distance by using the first correction signal. |
