The present invention provides a method and device for a terminal to actively report a location registration message. In the method of the present invention, it is determined whether a system, where a terminal (a UE) camps, changes and whether registration area information changes, so as to determine whether to trigger the UE to actively report registration to the system currently being camped on, thereby solving the problem of the incapability of reporting a location registration message caused by that the registration area information is the same when the UE moves between a CDMA2000 1x network and an LTE network, improving the success rate of paging, and improving the user experience. |
