PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service providing system capable of properly notifying a user of the approach of a time point at which a reserved service becomes available when the user uses another service in waiting time of the reserved service.SOLUTION: In a service providing system 1 for providing games with plural game machines GM, a control unit 50 of a reservation terminal TM receives a request of reservation for using one of the game machines GM from a user and manages reservation status information indicating a reservation status of each of the plural game machines GM. While the user is using a game machine GM different from the game machine GM reserved by the user, a control unit 30 of the game machine GM notifies the user of the fact that a time point at which the game machine GM reserved by the user becomes available comes in a predetermined time period or shorter when the time point comes in the predetermined time period or shorter.
