摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that improves precision in automatic leveling control for a vehicular lamp fitting.SOLUTION: In a control unit of a vehicular lamp fitting, a control block 120 adjusts an optical axis in compensation for a change in a total angle, which is detected by an inclination sensor 116, occurring while a vehicle is stopped. In addition, the adjustment of the optical axis in compensation of a change in the total angle occurring while the vehicle is traveling is avoided. The control block 120 volatilely holds a reference value of a road angle and a reference value of a vehicle posture angle. When a power switch is turned off, the two reference values are non-volatilely stored in a memory 108. After the switch is turned on, if the vehicle 300 is not started within a predetermined period of time, the vehicle posture angle is obtained based on the total angle and the road angle reference value stored in the memory 108 in order to adjust the optical axis, and the vehicle posture angle is updated. If the vehicle 300 is started within the predetermined period of time, the road angle is obtained based on the total angle and the vehicle posture angle reference value stored in the memory 108. The optical axis is adjusted using the vehicle posture angle obtained based on the road angle and total angle or the vehicle posture angle reference value stored in the memory 108.
