PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of resources for mounting a virtual machine.SOLUTION: The communication apparatus has an information processing section and a control section. The information processing section has nonvolatile memory and volatile memory. The control section, when the communication apparatus starts, reads out a boot image from the nonvolatile memory to the volatile memory, starts a virtual machine template included in the read boot image in the volatile memory, changes the minimum settings of the started virtual machine template to run the virtual machine, and then stops the virtual machine template, when receiving an additional request of communication service, duplicates the stopped virtual machine template, starts the duplicated virtual machine template, changes the settings of the started duplicated virtual machine template to the settings in accordance with the additional request of the communication service, and runs the duplicated virtual machine template in which the settings are changed as a virtual machine, thereby providing the communication service. |
