The present invention relates to a food slicer finely cutting an object for cooking and forming slices thereof. The food slicer comprises: a main body; a housing in which an insertion part wherein the object is inserted is formed in one side and which is installed in one side of the main body; and a slicing knife housing which is installed inside the housing to be rotated and in which a slicing blade cutting the object inserted through the insertion part into slices of a preset thickness is arranged in the one upper side. The slicing knife housing has a support plate in which the object inserted through the insertion part is settled and a track surface descends spirally, and a step is formed between the starting point and end point of the track surface. The slicing blade is installed in the position corresponding to the step and cuts the object passing through the space formed by the step. According to the present invention as stated above, the cutting thickness of the object is adjustable by adjusting the position where the object inserted in the housing is supported, thereby preparing food ingredients usable for many different dishes depending on user`s purpose or taste. |
