PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the influence of the mechanical resonance frequency of a scanning mirror.SOLUTION: A horizontal control part controls the scanning of a scanning mirror which scans a laser beam in a horizontal direction such that the scanning mirror is driven by a fixed frequency in the horizontal direction, and a vertical control part controls the scanning of the scanning mirror in a vertical direction on the basis of the frequency by which the scanning mirror is driven in the horizontal direction by the horizontal control part. Then, a vertical driving signal which the vertical control part outputs for controlling the scanning of the scanning mirror in the vertical direction has a period directed from up to down in the vertical direction and a period directed from down to up in the vertical direction, and videos in each frame are alternately displayed in each period. This technology may be applied to, for example, a projection device using a laser light source. |
