<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil supply structure for a timing chain, for reducing the number of components and machining manhours for the components.SOLUTION: The lubricating oil supply structure includes an oil pump 2 stored in an oil pan 13, sprockets 31, 41 mounted on a crank shaft 15, a sprocket 32 mounted on a cam shaft 16, a sprocket 42 mounted on a driving shaft 21 of the oil pump 2 so as to be immersed in lubricating oil L in the oil pan 13, a timing chain 34 wound on the sprockets 31, 32, a driving chain 43 wound on the sprockets 41, 42, and a chain cover 5 storing the sprockets 31, 32, 41, 42, the timing chain 34 and the driving chain 43. Between a cylinder block 11 and the chain cover 5, a lubricating oil supply guide 6 is provided for covering the sprockets 31, 41 at its peripheral upper side.</p> |
