PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably start/stop a sweep motor.SOLUTION: When given an instruction to start, a control circuit 15 supplies a drive coil 13 with alternating pulse-like excitation currents I01 and I02 via a drive circuit 14, thereby generating a pulse-like alternating electric field in a stator 11. A drive torque is generated by the action of the alternating magnetic field and the magnet of a rotor 12, and consequently the rotor 12 rotates. Even when an instruction to stop is given in a short time after the start, the control circuit 15 supplies the drive coil 13 with the excitation currents I01 and I02 at least a preset specific number of times, Nmin, and lastly supplies the excitation current I02 and stops, thereby stabilizing the rotated position of the rotor when the rotor 12 stops, thus stabilizing the next start. |
