PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform an insertion/removal operation of an optical plug via a knob even when a small space formed of wall parts or the like exists on each of the right and left sides of an optical connector adapter.SOLUTION: The optical connector plug includes: a stopper guide 22 disposed in a rear part on a top face of a knob 12 on which an optical plug P is mounted; a spring guide 23; an outer cover 24 disposed on the outer surface of the knob 12; and a spring 28 disposed between the stopper guide 22 and outer cover 24. When the outer cover 24 is pressed by an optical connector adapter Q and hence backward moves while compressing the spring 28, a shutter 21 is opened, and the optical plug P can project forward from the outer cover 24. The optical connector plug also includes a grip section 51 that projects vertically and laterally from the rear end of the knob 12. |
