PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance device capable of preventing a lid member from adhering to an opening when a space area is suctioned in a state where the opening of a liquid receiving part, which is provided with the space area capable of receiving a liquid through the opening, is sealed by the lid member.SOLUTION: A maintenance device includes: a flashing box 40 provided with a space area which may receive an ink jetted from a liquid jet head 19 through an opening 41; a suction pump 25 which may suction the space area provided at the flashing box; a lid member 31 which covers the opening in a state of sealing the opening; and an atmosphere open part which releases the atmosphere of the space area when the space area is suctioned by the suction pump in a state that the opening is sealed by the lid member. |
