PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fraudulent act for operating a game machine by using an external memory that is illegally altered.SOLUTION: A memory unit is authenticated in the memory unit while an encryption communication unit on a substrate transmits a reset signal to a central processing unit during starting or restoring the game machine. The transmission of the reset signal is stopped on condition that the memory unit is confirmed to be normal by mutual authentication communication between the encryption communication unit and the memory unit. |
