摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing an optical display device, in which a plurality of optical sheets are peeled sequentially and bonded to panel members, the optical film sheets being continuously supported on an elongate web-shape carrier film together with an adhesive layer.SOLUTION: The optical display device is manufactured in the following process. After completing bonding of a preceding optical film sheet and a panel member, an operation of rolling back a carrier film is initiated, where the back surface of the carrier film is folded back inwards by a top part of a peeler configuring the tip thereof and the film is wound around the peeler; the tip of an optical film sheet supported on the carrier film is appropriately positioned at a prescribed feeding position upstream the top part of the peeler; next, the tip of the optical film sheet is read, and through an action of winding the carrier film based on the position information, a panel member is conveyed from the top part of the peeler to the tip of the optical film sheet where the feeding state has been formed; and the optical film sheet is bonded to one surface of the panel member.</p>
