<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer method and a transfer device for an optical packet in an optical packet switch network which can satisfy both priority processing and low delay time of a specific optical packet at low cost.SOLUTION: Label information, priority information, and arrival time are detected from a transmitted optical packet (S1). An output port number is found from the label information (S2). When the output port number is the same between a first-arrived optical packet and a later-arrived optical packet, the output time of the first-arrived optical packet is overlapped with the output time of the later-arrived optical packet, and the priority of the later-arrived optical packet is higher than that of the first-arrived optical packet (S3-S4), the first-arrived optical packet is delayed for a predetermined period of time, the output port of a node which corresponds to the first-arrived optical packet is switched during the delay, the first-arrived optical packet is transferred to an output port having a different output port number from an original output port number, and the later-arrived optical packet is preferentially transferred to the output port having the original output port number (S5-S7).</p> |
