The present invention relates to a polarizing plate, a liquid crystal display device, and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention relates to a polarizing plate including a monoaxial polarizing plate correcting an in-plane phase delay value; and a phase delay layer disposed on one surface of the monoaxial polarizing plate and correcting a phase delay value in a thickness direction, a liquid crystal display device, and a manufacturing method thereof. As above, manufacturing costs of the liquid crystal display device can be reduced by forming parylene on one surface of the monoaxial polarizing plate, forming the polarizing plate with less manufacturing costs, and manufacturing the liquid crystal display device using the same.
